Werder are the league’s most threatening goal scorers: With 76 goals in the previous Bundesliga season, Werder Bremen clearly surpassed every other side in the league including champions VfB Stuttgart, who scored 61, and FC Bayern Munich (55).
Werder had the league’s most precise players: Werders players struck on goal a total of 462 times throughout the season, with an impressive 48,3% of their efforts heading goal ward (not including blocked efforts).
