The Amsterdam Police and Werder Bremen have issued some information for fans who will be visiting the Amsterdam Arena on Thursday, 23.02.2007 (9pm kick-off) for the second leg of the UEFA Cup pairing.

Arrival: Those travelling with a private car will find ample space for parking at the ‘Parkplatz P-Bus’ (Holterbergweg / Passage) – there is a parking fee for this area. The recommended public transport access is with the underground line number 54, the stadium station is “Metrostation Strandvilet”. Visitors entrance is at gate K which leads to the guest blocks 416 and 417. It is recommended to make the journey to the stadium punctually with the possibility of delays coming from the city and quest at the automatic turn stiles distinctly possible.

 

Regulations in Amsterdam: The drinking of alcoholic beverages is forbidden in the streets of Amsterdam as well as the transport of such on public transport. Visiting fans are also urged by the Amsterdam Police not to visit the Ajax fan area at the trainings facility to the north of the stadium. Fireworks and other potentially dangerous items are banned from the stadium. VIP ticket holders are instructed that jerseys and other such fan based utensils are not welcomed in the Business Area.
