There are still a limited number of tickets available for the Champions League clash between Werder Bremen and FC Barcelona. On Monday morning, the Bremen club recieved tickets back from sponsoring contingents and un-sold entry cards from FC Barcelona. Approximately 2,000 tickets are now available in the visitors block, the lower teer of the Weset Stand and some from the west side of the North Stand. The price lies between €50 and €60. The returned tickets are available immediately at the ticket centre in the east wing of stadium or at the call centre (tel. 01805 937 337). Telephone orders can only be accepted for credit card users.
The tickets which have been returned are exclusively for the game against FC Barcelona on Wednesday, 27.09.2006 and are not part of the group stage home game package set.
The match itself will be refereed by an Italian quartette led by FIFA ref Roberto Rosetti. The man in the middle will be aided by fourth official Nicola Rizzoli and assistants Marcello Ambrosino and Carmine Alvino. The 39 year old referee is experienced in international competition and is no stranger to Germany. The man with the whistle not only took charge of Confed Cup games in 2005 but also four matches during the recent World Cup including the second round prestige clash between France and Italy. The game between Werder and Barcelona will be the Italians fourth involvement in the Champions League.
