Werder Bremen striker Miroslav Klose is the top scorer at the 2006 World Cup with his five goals. The Bremen man pipped an aray of star names to the 'Golden Boot' including international team mate Lukas Podolski and World Top names such as Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, Thierry Henry, Fernado Torres, David Villa, Maxi Rodriguez and Hernan Crespo who each managed three a piece. Kloses swag was made up of two goals against both Costa Rica and Ecuador in the group phase and one against Argentina in the quarter final.
Back in 2002 Klose was also among the top scorers scoring five on that occasion too. Back then the young striker game in second place behind Brazil's Ronaldo who managed a stunning eight. Klose is only the second German winner of the 'Golden Boot' after Gerd Müller who picked up the trophy in 1970 with ten goals to his credit.
