Captain Frank Baumann, Tim Wiese and Co. set off towards Norderney on Monday morning in their Kappa leisure wear with Werder Bremen's new shirt yet to be unveiled. The presentation is due in mid July at which point new shirt sponsors 'BetandWin' will also display their logo: "The new market event from our partner is planned for a BetandWin conference on July 13th", explained Werder's media director Tino Polster who also added that the new BetandWin logo will not be worn during the trainings camp in Norderney or during the first pre-season friendly.
Werder Bremen are also currently preparing for a law suit with the Bremen interior ministery. Club manager Manfred Müller announced on Monday that the Bremen interior senator Thomas Röwekamp intends to block the advertisement for BetandWin: "It's not a surprise for us. It's quite clear to us that their are two very different legal opinions involved in this matter", explained Müller who will be objecting to the action should confirmation of the suit be delivered to the administration offices this week. "We are convinced that we will be given the benifit in a speedy process."
