Goalkeeper Andreas Reinke will remain in the Katharinen Hospital in Stuttgart for the next few days. The announcement was made by trainer Thomas Schaaf who is in daily contact with his number 1: "He's coming on and on the road to recovery. He's feeling good but is still in pain. He has taken his first steps since the operation and is slowly bringing his circulation back in swing", explained the coach, who is not surprised by Reinkes extended hospital stay: "It was clear that after an operation like that, that he wouldn't be home the next day, the doctors wanted to keep an eye on him."

Andreas Reinke will remain in Stuttgart until at least Sunday. An exact date for the 37 year olds return is yet to be set. "The treatment should be completed in it's entirety. He has more quiet there. It was Andi's wish not to be moved to another hospital, he will return to Bremen when he can be treated as an out patient."
