Joy for Klose, relief for Werder!! The German international only picked up a bruise on his cheek in the freiendly with Fenerbahce on Friday evening. That was the result of a detailed inspection at the Bremen DIAKO clinic on Saturday. Team doctor Dr.Götz Dimanski who accompanied Klose to the clinic on their return to Bremen stated: "There has been no bone movement on the point of breakage, it's just bruised".
Miroslav Klose took the news with alleviation: "It's good that it's nothing serious. That means that the bone has healed well - which in turn means that I don't need to wear the mask, that's staying in the cupboard. Having to take that thing out again would have been a step backwards."
Klose will return to full team training with immediate effect and he intends to catch up on the trainings time he lost whilst at the clinic. Klose will be back training with his colleagues again on Monday at 3pm.
