Werder striker Miroslav Klose has been selected by the federation of European Sports Magazines (ESM) as part of their 'Top 11' for the month of October. The German international was nominated twice. The English magazine 'World Soccer' and Hollands 'Voetbal International' were both convinced of Klose's quality. Aside from the Werder star, two other Bundesliga players were honoured. National team captain Michael Ballack and central defender Lucio, both from FC Bayern Munich joined Klose in the 'Top 11'.
