Werder defender Ümit Davala, who recently had to take an extended break due to a hip problem, is now threatened by a further injury worry. The Turkish international was treated by Werder Team doctor Dr. Götz Dimanski just before the end of training on Monday, 10.10.2005 after complaining of pain in his groin area.

The Turkish international was treated by Werder Team doctor Dr. Götz Dimanski just before the end of training on Monday, 10.10.2005 after complaining of pain in his groin area. "I definately felt a snaping", explained the full-back. A more exact diagnosis will be available after further examination. Dr. Dimanski explained: "We'll take our time and get to the bottom of the problem."

 

Miroslav Klose has fully recovered from from his flu infection and joined up with the German national side in Hamburg on Sunday. The striker will be available to join his team mates, Tim Borowski, Torsten Frings and Patrick Owomoyela for selection for the Wednesday 12.10.2005 friendly international against China at 8:30pm.
