Werders win against Hertha BSC Berlin last weekend was followed by two free days but on Tuesday morning the Green-Whites gathered again for team training. The session took place without the eleven players who were nominated for international duty.

International appearances for Petri Pasanen (muscle sinew tear) and Jelle van Damme (groin strain) remain in doubt. Currently both players are undergoing individual training in Bremen with the hope of being fit to represent their respective countries.

Miroslav Klose, who was forced to pull out of the national sides fitness test on Monday, is still battling for a place in the team to take on Turkey in Istanbul on Saturday, 08.10.2005 having come down with flu. A final decision has as yet not been made and further test results will decide whether Klose can line out for Germany in the Turkish capital.
