It doesn’t help having upset stomachs about the bitter German Cup elimination in Munich. "Even if we are really mad, we are moving forward to our new tasks,” said manager Klaus Allofs. The next task comes Saturday 30 October 2010 at 3:30 p.m. in Weser Stadium where they square off against Nuremberg. Head coach Thomas Schaaf accentuated the current mood of the team. “The players are already looking forward to the next game," said Schaaf. And the fact that there is a new challenge every three days doesn’t allow for anything different.
But the up-coming match against Nuremberg commands the highest attention level. The Franconia side has played well recently and had an altogether satisfactory season. “We are heading to Bremen with a certain anticipation,” said Nuremberg coach Dieter Hecking. "We have played very disciplined against assumed strong opponents such as at Hamburg and Leverkusen and taken something back from those games.” Nuremberg came up with two draws in those road games, leaving Thomas Schaaf warning his players. “They are not easy to play against. They run a lot and are very motivated," said Schaaf. "It’s up to us to stir things up and confuse them.” Manager Klaus Allofs added: “Every victory keeps the mood up."
