Things are not so bad for Tim Wiese. The German international keeper got caught on the pitch in a turn in the 35th minute of the Champions League group match against Twente Enschede, being substituted out with a pained look on his face. The diagnosis Thursday was not as bad as feared. "An examination done this morning confirmed our assumption that it was a collateral ligament sprain," said head coach Thomas Schaaf.

"We hope that he can get better quickly within the coming days, but we will have to make do without him for at least 10 days – depending on his healing process," added Schaaf, who will have to rely on Sebastian Mielitz in the coming games. There was also no change for Tim Borowski, who missed training Wednesday due to an ankle problem. "He went through a light running training this morning. We’ll see if he can train tomorrow again or if he will have to miss some more time," said the coach.
