After having to accept only taking part in running and coordination training for the past couple days, Claudio Pizarro finally made it back Wednesday afternoon 13 October 2010. The Werder striker returned to team training for the first time since his thigh muscle tear. And the Peruvian was absolutely thrilled to be back among his teammates.
"The muscle still feels good. I am just a bit tired from the strenuous last couple days," said Pizarro on his way to the dressing room and his return to 100 percent fitness. After appearing in his second match for the Brazilian national team on Monday, Wesley also returned to Werder team training. But Wednesday was a bit too early for the other Green-White internationals. The trio of Germans who were in Kazakhstan on Tuesday were back into Bremen on Wednesday and completed a running session with the other Werder internationals away from the training grounds. Daniel Jensen spent Wednesday recovering from an injury he suffered on Friday in Denmark's Euro2012 qualifier against Portugal. Other than Jensen, all of the other internationals are expected to be back in Werder team training on Thursday, 14 October 2010 at 3:30 p.m.
