For the third time the final run of the nationwide "Kinder laufen für Kinder" ("Children run for children") campaign is coming to Bremen. And once again a Werder player will be playing a key role. Werder's new acquisition Mikael Silvestre will visit the event on Sunday 5 September 2010 at 11 a.m. And the Frenchman will bring his entire family to the campaign, which is supported by Werder partner Kraft Foods. "I am happy that I can support Werder in the social field as well. It is only natural. On Sunday I will also bring all my daughters, who will also be on the track for a good cause," said Silvestre, who has been socially active for years.
The young Silvestre trio of Evy, Cléo and Mya are among the participants in the final event of the nationwide initiative. The gallop track at Vahr will not only host a benefit run but also a colourful day for the whole family. Schoolchildren from throughout Germany have already collected 300,000 euro this year. Registration for the small runners is possible starting at 10 a.m. - also on site. The family day at the gallop track will begin at 11 a.m.
Registration for the final run of the "Kinder laufen für Kinder" ("Children run for children") campaign is also possible at www.kinder-laufen-fuer-kinder.de.
