Werder Bremen will play their first test match as part of the training camp in Bad Waltersdorf, Austria, on Saturday 31 July 2010. The Green-Whites will travel about 65 kilometres from the training site to Szombathelyi along the German-Austrian border to face off against the Hungarian top flight club Haladás.
"This is another important test for us. We have worked on a lot of things in training and now we want to implement those in competitive conditions. I hope that we can do that," said Werder head coach Thomas Schaaf ahead of the game. But the coach said World Cup participant Marko Marin would not be playing.
