The first Werder Bremen jersey of the 2010-11 season went over the counters of the Werder shop Monday morning at 9:01 a.m. And the lucky owner is Stefan Höft of Bremen, who was not only the first buyer but also the first fan overall to get his sights on the new sports clothing. The new working gear of Merte, Wiese & Co. will be officially presented later in the day.

"I like the new design very much," said Höft about the new design of the NIKE jerseys. He selected German international Marko Marin and the number 10 for the imprint of the children's jersey. The purchase was a first for another reason as well. "It was the very first Werder jersey that I bought," admitted Höft. The presentation of the new gear fit excellently for Höft, who bought the jersey as a birthday present for a small Werder fan.

In addition to the new home jersey, goalkeeper Tim Wiese's new work gear was available in the Werder fan shop as well. The new away jersey for the 2010-11 season will be presented on Sunday, 8 August 2010 at the Day of Fans event.

WERDER.TV will offer a more detailed persentation of the new jersey as well as further reaction. Part of the ceremony is new acquisitions Marko Arnautovic and Felix Kroos trying out the new kit.
