After a series of discussions with the umbrella organisation of the fan club, the Fan Project as well as further fan groups, the Werder Bremen management decided to improve and intensify the care of their fans.
Manager Klaus-Dieter Fischer will integrate this task into his working duties and attempt to improve the care through the employment of two full time employees and support the work of fan commissioner Dieter Zeiffer. After extensive talks with various fan groups, Fischer has made it clear that the club will take even more seriously the fans' concerns and try to solve them.
Fischer also said his new department will not be taking over the duties of dispersal of tickets from the Ticket Services or tackling the issues of security and regulating stadium bans. The main point will be an improved communication after an initial appraisal of the situation is done. "We will not be able to solve all problems and fulfil all wishes. But our fans should know and sense that we take their concerns seriously," said Fischer.
