Werder Bremen goalkeeper Tim Wiese is close to making his return to team training after an adductor muscle injury. The keeper on Wednesday completed a further increase in his individual training program. "We really pushed him a bit more today. But we still took into account certain movements. If he can take that then we will have one more test tomorrow morning. And if everything goes well there, Tim will practice again with his teammates tomorrow afternoon," said goalkeeper coach Michael Kraft.
Attacker Claudio Pizarro also took part in an individual training session. He was working out with fitness coach Yann-Benjamin Kugel in the afternoon but he will be back at team training on Thursday. That is when the first internationals will be returning.
