There is a deep sigh of relief for Werder talent Pascal Testroet. The arthroscopic test done Tuesday confirmed the initial diagnosis by team doctor Dr. Götz Dimanski. The 19-year-old did suffer a serious knee injury but no surgery is needed on the cruciate ligament.
"The ligament is only strained, Pascal does not need to be operated on," said Dr. Dimanski. But Pascal Testroet’s season is over. "I will have to take off eight weeks. But luckily it’s not eight months," said Testroet.
Werder Bremen wishes the young talent a speedy recovery and successful rehab!
