There are no doubts that Werder Bremen are intensively and highly concentrated in preparing for the match against Herth Berlin on Friday, 5 February 2010 at 8:30 p.m. Head coach Thomas Schaaf has been bringing his willing team along and is relaxed not only outwardly. "I am also calm inside because I know how we are working on things and I have the feeling that we are working well and will soon have some good results," said Schaaf. The Werder coach also takes the calmness and composure from the environment in Bremen. "I think those who work with me know by now what I stand for and know my methods. I am fully concentrated on my work and I sense absolute backing from everyone in the club and from my private surroundings," said Schaaf.
Relentless mistake analysis
The Bremen coach is convinced about the quality of the team and hopes for the appropriate implementation on the pitch. "The team was shocked itself how they played in certain situations in Mönchengladbach. During the week, we went through the duties of the individual players and what is expected from them," said Schaaf. The coach praised the Werder supporters despite Bremen's negative streak. "We cannot complain at all about the support of our fans. They have always pushed us forward, even if things haven't worked well for us recently. If we are not ready to run or go into challenges or assert ourselves, then I would be understanding if the resentment would get louder in the right way. But I am absolutely certain that the team will have the right performance on Friday," said Schaaf.
