Good news for all Werder Bremen supporters. Head coach Thomas Schaaf was once again able to count on Aaron Hunt and Claudio Pizarro on Tuesday. Aaron Hunt is back preparing with his teammates for the up-coming away match in Mönchengladbach after missing the past few days of Werder training and a fitness test with the German national team due to a gastro-intestinal infection. "I am not totally healthy yet, but it's a lot better," said the 23-year-old on the way to the changing room.
The same goes for Claudio Pizarro, who was able to practice again with the team after four days out of training with a grippe. "Healthy is something else," said the 31-year-old Pizarro with his winter hat deep over his face. "But it's a lot better than on the weekend."
Head coach Thomas Schaaf was able to welcome two more players to his training in talents Onur Ayik and Marko Futacs. The two 19-year-old strikers, who until last week were preparing for the second half with Werder's U23 training camp in Spain, helped fill the Green-Whites' decimated training group.
Schaaf has scheduled two training sessions for Wednesday, 27 January 2010 - at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
