Referee Dr. Jochen Drees from Münster-Sarmsheim will referee Werder Bremen's Bundesliga away match against Cologne on Sunday, 6 December 2009 at 3:30 p.m. This will be the first time this season that the 39-year-old doctor will whistle a game with Werder involved. Cologne lost on 13 September at Rhein Energie Stadium against Schalke 2-1 with Drees as referee.
