The top game of the German Cup quarterfinals between Werder Bremen and Hoffenheim will take place on Tuesday 9 February 2010 at 8:30 p.m. and will be the first part of the last eight, it was announced Tuesday morning by the German Football Federation. The game will be broadcasted on the pay-television channel sky as well as live on German free television channel ARD.
The other three match-ups will take place one day later on Wednesday, 10 February 2010. The Augsburg v Cologne and Bayern Munich v Greuther Fürth games will kick off at 7 p.m. Both contests will be shown exclusively on sky. At 8:30 p.m. Osnabrück face off against Schalke. This game will be broadcasted live on sky as well on ZDF.
The winners of these four games advance to the semi-finals on 23-24 March 2010 and the final will be played on 15 May 2010.
