The success story for Hungary and Werder talent Marko Futacs rolls on as the Hungarians beat the Czech Republic 6-5 in penalties in the Round of 16 at the U20 World Cup in Egypt to reach the quarter-finals and celebrate the nation’s biggest success in history.

 

Futacs played 60 minutes

 

Futacs once again was in the starting line-up for Hungary, playing 60 minutes before being replaced by Bene Zambo. Hungary will next face Italy in the quarter-finals on Friday, 9 October 2009 (8 p.m.). Francesco Rocca’s Italians surprised Spain 3-1 in the Round of 16.
