Athletic Bilbao were able to finally end their three-game road losing streak in the Primera Division and Europa League this weekend. But all they could manage was a 2-2 draw at Real Valladolid. The substituted newcomer Iker Muniain gave Bilbao a bit of relief while also etching his name in the history books. The striker scored the 2-2 goal in the 79th minute at the tender age of 16 years, 289 days.

Werder’s up-coming opponent in the UEFA Europa League Austria Vienna meanwhile beat Mattersburg 1-0 in the Austrian Bundesliga to remain second in the standings. And the Portuguese side Nacional Funchal have stabilised themselves after a poor start to the season, using a 2-0 victory over Vitoria Guimares on Monday night to jump to seventh place.
