Daniel Jensen is yearning to return to team training but must now remain patient as he nears the end of his rehabilitation. The Dane has to overcome the final hurdles and despite hoping to return to team training in the coming days has been requested by team doctor Dr. Götz Dimanski to complete one last special training program. "This delay of course is not nice because of course I want to get back onto the pitch with my teammates. But I can’t do anything about it. I want to be well prepared for when I make my fight for a starting spot. So I have to go into the final stretch one more time," said Jensen.
Team doctor Dr. Dimanski recommended taking this step. "We noticed that his movements are not yet completely full. We examined it in a running analysis in Donaustauf and it was confirmed. Certain muscular bodies indicate small deficits. Now we are working on those," said the team doctor, who believes the workload test will take about 10 days.
