Fixtures: Saturday’s at home, Sunday’s away

Due to reaching the group phase of the Europa-League, once again this season Werder Bremen will have a number of Sunday games on the schedule.

On Tuesday afternoon, the German Football League (DFL) announced the exact dates and kick-off times for match days 6 through 10 of the Bundesliga season. In the coming weeks, Werder will play three Sunday games and twice on Saturdays. The fixtures were set with consideration for Werder’s Europa-League schedule and the result is that head coach Thomas Schaaf will have at least two days for preparation ahead of the Bundesliga matches.

6th match day, Sun, 20.09.2009, 5:30pm: Bayer Leverkusen – Werder Bremen

 

7th match day, Sat, 26.09.2009, 3:30pm: Werder Bremen – 1. FSV Mainz 05

 

8th match day, Sun, 04.10.2009, 3:30pm: VfB Stuttgart – Werder Bremen

 

9th match day, Sat, 17.10.2009, 3:30pm: Werder Bremen – 1899 Hoffenheim

 

10th match day, Sun, 25.10.2009, 5:30pm: VfL Bochum – Werder Bremen
