At the moment there are no plans for a live television broadcast of Werder Bremen’s clash with FK Aktobe. So far, no German television channel has made an offer to the Kazakhstan champions for the rights to televise the Play-Off return leg, as both sides strive to reach the Europa-League. Should there be no last minute bid for the rights to broadcast the match live, Werder Bremen will endeavour to secure the rights for a live broadcast. WERDER.TV has already opened talks with the agency connected to FK Aktobe, but a final decision on the issue will not be made before Wednesday evening.
There is no question though that WERDER.TV will, along with the usual pre-and post match action, present the highlights of the game on Friday morning: “We are aware that Kazakhstan television is producing this game. We will be on location with our WERDER.TV-Team to secure the footage or, if needs be, record the game ourselves with our own cameras,” said media director Tino Polster, and he added: “If we do pull off the ‘Live-Coup’, we will announce the news right here on werder.de.” In that case, the match will be available to WERDER.TV subscribers free-of-charge. As for the game against FC Valencia, all other interested parties will have the opportunity to view the game for a nominal fee – provided of course that you are registered, free-of-charge of course, with WERDER.TV.
