Citibank makes it possible: Werder in Berlin again

This weekend will be a special highlight for all Werder Bremen fans in and around Berlin. Citibank has organised in cooperation with AOK Brandenburg a friendly tournament for Sunday, 16 August 2009 with German Cup winners Werder Bremen and amateur clubs RSV Eintracht 1949, BFC Preussen and VfB Hermsdorf. The games will take place on the grounds of RSV Eintracht at Heinrich Zille Str. 32 in Stahnsdorf.

 

Werder’s team will appear wearing their new, orange colour away jerseys with Citibank’s slogan "So geht Bank heute" ("This is how to bank today"). Bremen’s first game will be against RSV Eintracht at about 2 p.m. The final will see the winner of that match face off against the winner of the game between VfB Hermsdorf and BFC Preussen, which will be played at 1 p.m. The side program begins at 9 a.m.
