The summer schedule for the next season's preparations is taking more and more shape as Werder Bremen have planned two more test matches. The Green-Whites will play against Alemannia Aachen on 26 July 2009 at 7 p.m. Two days later, Werder take on Spanish top flight FC Valencia on 28 July 2009 in Meppen. A kickoff time has not been announced. In addition, both training camps have been scheduled. As usual, Werder will travel to Norderney (3-9 July 2009) and after a test match in Graz further onto Bad Waltersdorf, Austria (11-19 July 2009).
