All media representatives who will report on Werder Bremen's UEFA Cup match at Hamburg are asked by the Werder Media & PR department to review the following relevant information for this away match.

 

The official press conferences with both coaches will take place as usual one day before the UEFA Cup match. Werder head coach Thomas Schaaf and German international midfielder Torsten Frings will answer journalists' questions on Wednesday, 6 May 2009 at 6 p.m. at the HSH Nordbank Arena. Werder Bremen's official final training will start half an hour later at 6:30 p.m. - also at HSH Nordbank Arena. Werder's entire training session is open to media members but interviews will not be allowed after practice.

 

There will not be an extra press conference in Bremen before the team's departure for Hamburg.

 

Hamburg's press conference with coach Martin Jol and one player will take place on Wednesday 6 May 2009 at 1 p.m. at HSH Nordbank Arena. Hamburg's final training session is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the HSH Nordbank Arena training grounds. Media members will be allowed to watch only the first 15 minutes of Hamburg's training.

 

Accreditations have been sent to all media members who included mailing addresses in their accreditation requests for the game through Werder Bremen. All other media representatives can pick up their game tickets on the day of the match (Thursday, 7 May 2009) starting at 6:45 p.m. at the blue container in front of the Nord-Ost (North-East) entrance of Hamburg's HSH Nordbank Arena.
