Important information for travel to the UEFA Cup away match at Udinese Calcio:

 

All media representatives who will accompany Werder Bremen to the UEFA Cup match at Udinese Calcio are asked by Werder's Media & PR department to review all dates and information regarding this away match.

 

Werder Bremen will meet with media a number of times before the match. Interviews will be possible with head coach Thomas Schaaf on Wednesday, 15 April 2009 at 8:30 a.m. at Bremen airport. The interview session will take place in the VIP room on the first floor of the departure hall. Thereafter, all media members will have a chance to interview players while they check in (at about 8:45 a.m.).

 

In Udine, Werder Bremen will have their official UEFA press conference at Stadio Friuli, starting at 6 p.m. Head coach Thomas Schaaf and one Werder player will be available for questions from international media. Werder Bremen's final official practice will begin half an hour later, at 6:30 p.m. - also at Stadio Friuli. The entire training session is open to media members, but interviews will not be allowed after the training.

 

The Udinese Calcio press conference with head coach Pasquale Marino and one player will take place on Wednesday, 15 April 2009 at 5 p.m. at Stadio Friuli. The Italians' final training takes place at 11 a.m. on the club's training grounds with only the first 15 minutes open to the media. Due to the schedule, it will not be possible to attend the training as part of the journalist trip.

 

Accreditations for German media members will be handed out, as usual, on Wednesday 15 April 2009 during Werder Bremen's final training. Journalists who arrive in Udine on the day of the game can pick up their tickets at the stadium's media counter (Gate No. 29) from Mr. Albertini.

 

Werder Bremen's return trip is planned for Friday 17 April 2009 at 12 p.m. The aircraft is scheduled to land in Bremen at 2 p.m. There will not be a press conference on the day of arrival in Bremen. The press conference ahead of the Bundesliga game at Hertha Berlin will take place on Saturday 18 April 2009 at the final training in the media room of Weser-Stadion's East Curve.
