Aaron Hunt has successfully made his return to team training with the Werder professionals. "I don't have any more problems with my knee and can complete training pain-free," said the 22-year-old after practice Monday afternoon. On Sunday, the U21 German international returned to team training for the first time since knee problems arose following the final game of the first half against Wolfsburg on 13 December 2008. "It's a nice feeling to finally be on the pitch with the team again."

Still not back on the field however is Tim Wiese. The goalkeeper has a slight muscle tear in his thigh and does not want to risk anything. "I don't want to risk making it worse and then missing a few weeks," said the 27-year-old.
