All representatives who will accompany Werder Bremen to the UEFA Cup match at AC Milan are asked to review all the relevant information about this away game supplied by Werder's Media and PR department.

 

Werder Bremen will address the media a number of times before the game. On Wednesday, 25 February 2009 at 8:30 a.m. local time, there will be a chance for interviews with head coach Thomas Schaaf at Bremen airport just before the team's departure.

 

In Milan, Werder Bremen will be present at the official UEFA press conference at Guiseppe Meazza Stadium, beginning at 6 p.m. Head coach Thomas Schaaf will answer the questions of international media. Half an hour later - at 6:30 p.m. - Werder Bremen's official final training session will begin, also as Guiseppe Meazza Stadium. The entire practice will be open to media members. AC Milan's press conference will take place on Wednesday, 25 February 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Milanello training centre.

 

Work IDs for German media representatives will be handed out, as usual, during Werder Bremen's final training session on Wednesday, 25 February 2009. Journalists who arrive in Milan on game day can pick up their tickets directly at the stadium box office (Media Box No. 77-78 directly in front of stadium gate No. 7).

 

Werder Bremen's return trip is planned for Friday, 27 February 2009 at 11 a.m. The airplane is scheduled to land in Bremen at 12:40 p.m. There will not be a press conference on the day of arrival. The press conference ahead of the Bundesliga game against FC Bayern München will take place on Saturday, 28 February 2009, at 1:30 p.m. in the media room in the east curve of Weser Stadion.
