The exciting UEFA Cup return leg showdown between AC Milan and Werder Bremen will take place in a week at the football temple of Guiseppe Meazza in San Siro. But football fans looking to watch the match and stars like Beckham, Ronaldinho, Seedorf, Diego and Torsten Frings on television made be left in the dark. Werder media director Tino Polster confirmed: "This is very complicated and the probability this game will be on television is very small."
The problem is that three other German clubs will be playing their return UEFA Cup games at home and home matches have priority, meaning the ARD channel will be showing live Stuttgart against Zenit St. Petersburg. Bremen have asked the Italian club to move the kickoff time but AC Milan declined that. And Werder also inquired to UEFA to switch the game to Wednesday but that day is reserved for Champions League matches. Now Bremen are trying to secure the broadcasting rights for WERDER.TV.
