The UEFA Cup match against AC Milan will take place on Wednesday, 18 February 2009 at 8:35 p.m. - five minutes later than originally planned. The match time was moved back after negotiations with UEFA and AC Milan following a request made by the broadcasting German television station ZDF.
In the run-up to the UEFA Cup match against the Italian top club there will be two press conferences in Bremen on Tuesday, 17 February 2009. Bremen head coach Thomas Schaaf and one player (not yet announced) will answer journalists' questions at 5 p.m. following Werder's training session, which begins at 3 p.m. on the Weser training grounds and is open the media in its entirety.
