Alongside Werder Bremen, the Bundesliga is also represented by Bayern Munich, FC Schalke 04 and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
“It underlines the growth in value that Werder has continually achieved in recent years. We will use this responsible position to have our say and lend our experience on the topic of professional football,” said the chairman of the board of management on his return from the two day ECA general assembly in Nyon.
