99.996, 99.997, 99.998, 99.999, 100.000 - Werder Bremen surprised the 100,000th visitor to the WUSEUM on Tuesday morning. At 11:06am, Werder director Klaus-Dieter Fischer made a point of carefully counting a school class of mentally handicapped children from the Grolland School as they entered the WUSEUM, and he picked out Emre Uludasdemir as the lucky, honorary guest. Fischer presented the 15 year old with a certificate and the new Werder jersey sporting the number 100,000.
Klaus Dieter Fischer was delighted about the reason for his visit to the WUSEUM on Tuesday: “100,000 visitors – that’s a great development. It shows that the euphoria surrounding Werder Bremen has been mirrored in the WUSEUM and that the concept of displaying the history of Werder alongside some special exhibitions, such as ‘Kicker, Kämpfer und Legenden’ has worked.
