The 28 year old Danish midfielder confirmed the diagnosis as he began today with rehabilitation training: “Injuries are always frustrating, no matter when they occur”, explained Jensen, who has only recently recovered from a groin problem.
With regards to the length of time that he could be out of action, Jensen said: “I hope that I can re-join the team in two weeks but you really have to wait and see how the recovery process develops and we will know more about that next week.”
The Werder players went through two training sessions on Wednesday with the Daniel Jensen proving the only absentee from either session.
