Werder Bremen’s most recent signing, Sebastian Prödl, wants to be perfectly prepared when the new season begins. With that in mind, the 20 year old popped by the Werder administration centre on Monday morning. There were some bureaucratic matters and the search for accommodation in Bremen on the schedule. WERDER.TV took the opportunity to speak to the lofty central defender from Sturm Graz.
In an exclusive interview, the Austrian international admitted how eagerly he is awaiting his start on the Weser: “I really feel quite at home here. I’m searching for an apartment at the moment and have a look in a few areas. I really think it’s a beautiful city. I will be very comfortable here.”
The Austrian has high sporting expectations for the coming season too: “I’m coming to join a top team, the environment here suits me perfectly and the trainings facilities are very good. There is also a lot I can learn from internationally experienced players like Naldo and Per Mertesacker. I intend to settle in here quickly and find a full place in the team”, explained Prödl to WERDER.TV.
