The Green-Whites coach had been having a slight headache concerning his attack but both Ivan Klasnic and Hugo Almeida registered their availability after a final session of regenerative training.
Ivan Klasnic, who picked up a slight thigh strain in Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Borussia Dortmund, said: "I’m doing fine and I will definitely be able to fly with the team". The same applies to team mate and striker partner Hugo Almeida who has recovered from flu in time to travel.
Whilst the attacking duo were put through their paces in a special regenerative programme, team captain Frank Baumann rejoined full team training having also recovered from the effects of a flu virus which would appear to be doing the rounds in Bremen.
Trainer Thomas Schaaf is expecting to see the following 21 players at Bremen Airport on Wednesday:
Wiese, Vander, Boenisch, Pasanen, Naldo, Mertesacker, Fritz, Baumann, Tosic, Owomoyela, Vranjes, Rosenberg, Diego, Özil, Hunt, Klasnic, Sanogo, Jensen, Almeida, Borowski, Harnik.
