No further surprises – Pasanen in tow

Finnish international Petri Pasanen will make the trip to Munich with his team mates.

There were no further surprises for Werder Bremen in their final training session on Saturday ahead of the clash with Bayern Munich.

There were no further surprises for Werder Bremen in their final training session on Saturday ahead of the clash with Bayern Munich. Petri Pasanen, who was rested on Friday, took part in the session, as planned, and joins the squad for the journey to Munich on Saturday evening. “Petri trained and he’s going to be with us”, announced Werder coach Thomas Schaaf before the team headed off down south. Tim Borowski has been passed fit and also joins the squad for the top of the table summit meeting.

 

The Werder trainer nominated the following squad of players for the game: Wiese, Vander, Tosic, Pasanen, Mertesacker, Owomoyela, Borowski, Baumann, Özil, Kruse, Diego, Jensen, Vranjes, Schindler, Rosenberg, Hunt, Harnik.
