Werder talent Niclas Füllkrug is really looking forward to the up-coming derby against Hannover on Sunday at Weser Stadium. "If the head coach were to call me over to be brought on in the 89th minute I will sprint to the sideline. I am really excited about the game against Hannover," said the 19-year-old.
And it is definitely possible that the youngster could play against Hannover. "He has already had some good scenes when he was in the games. He is only missing a bit of experience. More games will do him good," said Werder head coach Thomas Schaaf about Füllkrug.
Markus Rosenberg meanwhile is hoping to finally score again after going three months without a goal. "That's football. There are just phases when nothing goes by plan. I will continue to believe in myself and look forward. I will eventually score automatically," said Rosenberg. Schaaf also believes in the 29-year-old Swede after observing him every day in training. "He has created a number of chances recently but not been able to use them. He is very, very motivated in training. He works, battles and plays around the situation. Everyone wishes for him that he can put that into the game," said Schaaf.
