Werder's winter training camp from 8-17 January, 2014 in Jerez de La Frontera, Spain is taking shape as plans have been set for two test matches in preparations for the second half of the season.

As part of the training camp, Werder will take on Dutch top flight side NEC Nijmegen on Sunday 12 January 2014 and then square off against Romanian record champions Steaua Bucharest on Thursday 16 January 2014.

Both matches will likely take place in the afternoon but the exact kick-off times and locations have not yet been set. They will however be announced in due time.

Mon. 23 December 2013: Start of holidays for Werder players

Mon. 06 January 2014: First day of training (morning training)

Wed. 08 January 2014: Start of training camp in Jerez de la Frontera

Sun. 12 January 2014: Werder Bremen - NEC Nijmegen in Jerez

Thurs. 16 January 2014: Werder Bremen - Steaua Bukarest in Jerez

Fri. 17 January 2014: Return from training camp in Jerez de la Frontera

Sun. 26 January 2014: 3:30 p.m.: 18th Bundesliga match day, Werder Bremen - Eintracht Braunschweig
