Test matches during winter training camp

SV Werder Bremen will play at the Tuttur Cup 2013 during the winter training camp at Belek, Turkey from 5-12 January 2013. Also playing in this mini-tournament will be VfL Wolfsburg as well as top flight Turkish teams Trabzonspor and Besiktas Istanbul, as confirmed on Friday by Frank Baumann, Werder's director for professional football and scouting.

In the semi-finals, Werder will play against Trabzonspor on 7 January 2013 at 8 p.m. (local time, 7 p.m. in Bremen). A day earlier, VfL Wolfsburg will play against Besiktas in the opening game of the competition at the same time of kick-off. All of the tournament's matches will take place at the Mardan Palace Stadium in Kundur.

The third place game will take place two days later on 9 January 2013 at 5 p.m. (local time, 4 p.m. in Bremen) between the two losing teams in the semi-finals. The final will take place at 8:30 p.m. (local time, 7:30 p.m. in Bremen) between the two winning teams.

For their third test match, Bremen will keep their rhythm of a match every two days with a friendly against Dutch top flight side PEC Zwolle on 11 January 2013. The match will be played in Belek. No kick-off time has been set yet.
