Robin Dutt has been head coach at SV Werder since the summer. On Saturday, the 48-year-old coach will be leading the Green-Whites against the club he coached for four years. SC Freiburg, where Dutt held the reins from 2007 to 2011, will be coming to Weser Stadium at 3:30 p.m. After the match in Stuttgart, where he and his family live in the off-season, it's the second emotional contest within two weeks for the Werder coach.

"I had a very special time in Freiburg. It was not only very successful sporting-wise but also privately very nice. I met a lot of good friends and acquaintances. They were my four nicest years in the football business. I still have contact to the club and we still have the odd talk here or there. After the match at VfB Stuttgart, it's already the second special game for me," said Dutt, thinking about his time in Freiburg.

Saturday will also see another reunion between Werder manager Thomas Eichin, who was born in Freiburg, and Freiburg coach Christian Streich. The two played together one season in Freiburg and met up again in mid-February at the Green-Whites' 3-2 home loss against Freiburg. "Christian Streich was back then a very motivated guy. The year was great, it was really a lot of fun with him," said Eichin. The match on Saturday however doesn't mean a lot personally to Eichin. "I don't have the points of contact like Robin. I was born in Freiburg and my mother and sister still live there, but I left for Gladbach when I was 18. I hold the club in high regard, but the match is like any other for me," said Eichin.

Regardless of the differing meanings, the Werder coach has his sights set on the match on Saturday. "We are going a good way at the moment. A victory on Saturday would do us good. When the match starts, everything is forgotten. The emotions have no place there. It's a match that I want to win with all my might," said Dutt.
