SV Werder Bremen and former head coach Robin Dutt have mutually agreed on the termination of his still existing work contract. The coach's deal with the Green-Whites was originally supposed to run until 30 June 2016 but will end on 31 December 2014. Neither side released details about the agreement.
"The talks about the contract termination went very fairly just like the entire collaboration. We always made it very clear that we really value the work of Robin Dutt and his team and don't want to stand in the way should something come up for a new challenge for Robin," said Werder's manager of sport Thomas Eichin, who held the talks with the coach along with fellow manager Klaus Filbry. The management chairman added: "Robin Dutt did important work for us. We wish him all the best for his new endeavours."
