Talk about a premiere! On Wednesday 5 November 2014, SV Werder striker Franco Di Santo will take time from his busy schedule for a chat on Werder's English Twitter feed @werderbremen_EN, starting at 5 p.m. "I have a lot of English speaking fans from my time in the Premier League who don't have the possibility of coming to Bremen that often because of the distance. I'm happy that we will be able to chat again," said the striker.
The chat will proceed as the chats usually do on Werder's German Twitter feed in which fans can send their questions for the Argentinean to hashtag #AskFranco. The striker will answer as many questions as he can in the usual 140 characters.
In addition to their German Twitter feed, SV Werder Bremen have had an English Twitter feed since the beginning of September. International fans can keep up with all the news about the Bundesliga team in 140 characters or less. In the first two months, @werderbremen_EN has grown to nearly 900 followers.
