Germany have reached the final of the U19 European Championship in Hungary as Werder talent Davie Selke helped the Germans beat Austria 4-0 in the semi-finals in Budapest. In doing so, Selke knocked out of the competition his Bremen teammate Florian Grillitsch, who plays for Austria.

Selke himself gave Marcus Sorg's Germany team the lead in the 20th minute after an assist by Marc Stendera for his sixth goal of the tournament. Stendera increased the lead to 2-0 after 30 minutes and then assisted on Levin Öztunali's goal to make it 3-0 after 58 minutes. Hany Mukhtar tallied the final goal for Germany in the 68th minute.

The final will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. in Budapest.
