Said Husejinovic and Werder Bremen have agreed to prematurely dissolve the contract between them which was to expire in 2012, according to Werder manager Klaus Allofs on Thursday afternoon. "After talks about a transfer to Greece fell through we figured that this would be the best solution. Said unfortunately was unable to make his mark with us. And he didn't play any major role in our squad in the future," said Allofs.
Husejinovic came to Bremen in the summer of 2008 from Bosnian club FK Sloboda Tuzla. In the first half of the 2008-09, the 23-year-old was sent on loan to second division side Kaiserslautern. All told, Husejinovic appeared in 10 Bundesliga matches, playing 232 minutes. He was subbed in nine times and subbed out once.
